Any point in using this with standard 9 FC?

I use AP as Elite, so keeping this 24/7 isn't a problem. But can one actually notice the speed? Somehow I'm afraid that aftercast is going to delay things anyway so Mindbender won't add much on top of 9 FC.

Yes I'm aware of that limitation, hence careful approach. Mindbender wouldn't really add much I'm afraid and considering how some PvE skills are blatantly OP it's better to use them I guess.

Unless you have 20 FC you'll still notice a difference, but you can do better, especially as a mesmer.

Better off with Vanguard Sin, "Finish Him!" , "YMLAD!", Pain inverter, cop or urals hammer in an ap bar in my opinion.

I've been running a lot of variations of an AP mesmer for discordway and i've settled down recently on mind bender, EVASS and FH.
I just love the speed you throw out the assassins and I can really notice a big difference. Even with casting assasins promise I can feel the speed pick up and I can catch someone very close to death with ease.

Energy issues may crop up if the team isnt being effeciant with the kills - but I can honestly say running my mindbender mesmer has provided one of the fastest skill-clicking experiences i've had, second only to the imbagon.

40/40 set can save u a slot + pve only skill slot

mindbender was good till massive amounts of consummables in game now

now you can use rock candies for emergencies
